dal greco, riassume il concetto dell’ospitalità.
Partendo dalle mani aperte, come simbolo più alto di ospitalità, “Xenia” si pone come un oggetto la cui volontà principale e’ Accogliere, Ospitare e Porgere, in ricordo di una società che ormai non esiste più, e in attesa di ritornare ad un mondo capace di aprirsi all’altro accogliendolo nella propria vita, quale altro momento, se non a tavola, intorno ad un tavolo, si può godere della convivialità?
In questo progetto si è voluto eliminare angoli e spigoli, tutto in nome della curva e del cerchio, curva che abbraccia dolcemente e che fa sentire al sicuro, cerchio che rende il conoscersi un momento privo di classificazioni e il tavolo, come una livella, mette tutti, con semplicità, sullo stesso piano.

Born in Pisa on September 21, 1972, he graduated in Architecture at the University of Florence, where from 2002 to 2006 has been working as visiting lecturer at the Department of Urban Design.
From 2003 to 2006 he collaborated with Lightarchitecture Gianni Ranaulo in Paris. Since 2006 lives and works in Pisa. The professional activity, ranges over all areas of design, from design to architecture, interior from exhibition to urban regeneration.
In all projects stands as the founding principle of consistency with respect to the concept
and the readability of the idea through simple signs.
